Default What is a good source for accurate wiring diagrams and repair info?

Hey folks, I was wondering if anyone has any opinions about sources for accurate and coherent vehicle repair info or wiring diagrams.

I was thinking of picking up the official factory service manual for my jeep, although $110 seems a bit tough to swallow for a vehicle 16 years old. Then I found that AutoZone and Alldata have sources of possibly varying quality... Autozone is free, and AllData is a yearly subscription for their DIY website.

Any opinions on these? At the moment, I'm trying to find good wiring diagrams for my jeep, so I can check out why my power locks and cruise control went on strike.

Thanks.
D

AllData is run by Autozone...
The FSM for my '92 is great, I've scanned diagrams for some on here before. I really want to get one for my '98. (Every other car I have for that matter...)

Didn't know that about AllData. Hm.

Sounds like the legit bound and printed FSM is the way to go then eh?

I love mine... As with all FSM's or SM's, they don't have a grasp on the quirkiness of the vehicle and the typical problems that pop up... That's why we're here...
