Not long ago i did my first Overhaul of my jeep. I rebuilt an engine from my old 89. and dropped it into my 96. when i was putting it all back together and put it back into the engine compartment i noticed a couple weeks later i was dripping oil from the rear main seal just like before. Now its a new seal but its not sealing....what did i miss why is it still leaking?

 

Maybe installed poorly?

I've seen lots of folks with the same issue.
