I'm thinking about calling him The Punisher and painting it black with that while punisher skull on the hood. What do ya'll think?

I like black and I like red but your combo sounds nice. How's it running? I have been reading your other posts...TjOriginally Posted by cherokeebaby

Well I don't have any gas in it right now so I need to dig up some change and rattle my can and fill him up, but other than that it still kinda misses but its doing better. I replaced a few hoses that needed to be replaced, got a new air filter (mine was BLACK) and reattached some wires. I think I did it some good but this thing is going to need a lot of tlc before its perfect-o! As for the paint, I thought about doing black and red, so we will see what kind of mood I'm in when I go to buy the paint

Do it. Flat black with the punisher skull on the hood would look nice - that's the paint scheme I ran on my old demo derby car that survived three derbies in one season - a total of 5 heats.
It just would not die.

Black on top and Red on the bottom and put the Punisher's skull on the roof and a skull & Crossbones on the Hood.
And then Chief Puinisher will look kewl!!!!

What do you guys do for prep that have painted your jeeps flat colors? I assume sanding, red lead, primer, etc. How have you painted? spray can, grav paint gun? I'm thinking that I'll need a paint job sometime. Also, did you guys worry about the door sills, etc etc? I might just hit the outside and say f' it. Great thing about flat colors is that touchup's a breeze. Did you guys seal the paint?

Extreme 4x4 did like a $70 paint job on that blue xj 'cheap jeep' that looked pretty damn good. Don't remember what they used.
