I replaced all of my hoses that attach there. I'll try to remember to take a picture of it later so you can see what it is supposed to look like. Also, I'll try to find the part numbers that I used.

Mine was a cracked plastic piece of junk tube. I ripped it off and replaced with a crank case filter. lol.

when replacing the line use the same size inside diamiter as what was on it so the vaccum can work right, also the reason it is plastc from factory is that it will not lose diamiter when the engine is running. if you just put in a flex line ( rubber hose) the suction can make the line close itself up..
jsut a note so that you can make the engine work right...
if you want a pic of what it looks like let me know and give me the year. back in the amc days every year they changed stuff...

i just got a mini cone breather from the zone for like 19 bucks didnt really need to but it looks cool lol

So in the attempts of changing valve cover gasket and wrecking the front hose the mini breather filter is a solution and won't cause any problems?
