Parting out a 96 XJ at the moment. Noticed this odd looking goober stuck up by the master cylinder. What is it?

Thanks FB97! My 1st XJ was a 96 also. I am parting it slowly also, and it did not have one. (And I always thought it had ABS! OOPS!) lol
