P.O. had this pushed up under the dash and it fell out. I tried to put it back and it let out a spark. Two of the wires are cut on it. Everything works in the jeep except that the light switch has been removed and been converted over to a toggle switch(I plan on switching it back as soon as I can). Is this part of the lights and they had to do this to get that to work or is it for something else?

Thanks

pull the lower dash and see where it goes then disconnect it and throw it away.

I thought that it may have somthing to do with the keyless remote that may have originaly came on the jeep. I don't have a remote for the locks so I dont know if it had one or not.
