Hey all, hopefully you can help me diagnose a noise I have. It doesn't occur all the time, just sometimes. I normally notice it when I am braking, turning left when going slow, or both. It sounds like a rock stuck in between the caliper and rotor would, but I'm 99% sure it's not that, because sometimes I hear it when I'm not even braking. Any ideas? It definitely sounds like metal on metal, if that helps.

first thing id check is the hubs, jack up a front wheel and sit down there beside it, use ur feet and hands to wiggle it from side to side and up and down, if it moves theres ur problem. btw it takes some force to do this. IF thats ur issue, the fix is a new hub, less than 100bucks, but be sure you have a beefy 1/2 or 3/4 inch ratchet and a cheater pipe, as well as jack stands, and good wheel chocks,
to get the hub nut off when you get ready to change it
