Hello everyone, I am new to this forum, and jeeps in general. This is my first jeep, 88 Laredo, 4.0 4x4.. My question to all you pro's here is this; when I take off from a stand still, I hear a rattling, front end, up until about 25-30 mph, then it goes away. I know it can pretty much be anything, but any suggestions would be much appreciated.. Killer forum, luv it!!!!

Sorry, it's also an automatic...

 

whell bearings, fan belt, pulley under power steering, water pump u have locate the noise? hows steering wheel up until then even bad balance on tires

 

if its a tinny rattle, then check for heat shields on and around the exhaust from head to tailpipe

 

I will check all of the above today.. Steering I'd fine, will be replacing belts next so the tensioning on pulleys will b taken care of.. Thanks a ton for your help, much appreciated.
