Sorry it took awhile to reply back to this thread I've been busy with college, but I replaced the thermostat and flushed the hell out of it including a backflush of the heater core via a prestone backflush Kit and she's running great no more issues, thanks yall for your help

Ya it does, it helps when your back flushing so it doesn't go down through the header panel of your jeep but it's still kinda short and it just runs down the front end anyways so next time around Id fit a hose over it and route it to a bucket or away from your jeep so it doesn't make as much of a mess

When using one of those kind of flush kits, I never have understood how the heavy, non-buoyant crud (chunks of rust/solid scale) are supposed to rise from the bottom of the rad and exit out the top of the rad.
Besides, using one of those flush kits can move big chunks of rust/crud, that reside in the block/head, to the radiator which has many small passages that can easily be plugged by those big chunks of crud.
I'll stick with flushing the 3 areas separately like I described in post #7 above. Quick and easy....costs nothing and doesn't leave a spliced in plastic cap that is guaranteed to eventually leak.

I suspect one of the reasons we often see so much frightening gunk come out of a cooling system is past owners used a lot of Stop Leak. I hate that stuff! I recently flushed my cooling system (in a snowstorm!) and what looked like Mississippi river mud kept coming out for a long time. But the stuff coming out wasn't rust or corrosion. It was Stop Leak!
I used this to flush the system and it appeared to work pretty well:
I drained the system, removed the thermostat, then flushed it with a garden hose until everything came out clear. I drained the system again, poured in a bottle of the Blue Devil, then filled it with water and drove it around for awhile. When I drained it again, out came more Missisippi River Mud! Then I kept flushing it and flushing it and more river mud kept coming out. Eventually, everything came out clear. So, it appears that Blue Devil stuff removed a lot of gunk which flushing with water alone did not.
Then I found out I have the proverbial 0331 cracked cylinder head, but that's another story.
(And likely explains why the previous owner used so much Stop Leak!)
