Weak spot during acceleration
Whats up im Jerald and im lost. So quick info about the jeep. 91 with a RENIX block bored and stroked to 4.6 other upgrades include 24lb 6 hole injectors (ford) and accel ignition coil.
So somewhere around 2500 rpm's it seems to lose power. As it gradually moves up in the rpm range lets say between 3200 and 3500 rpm's it regains power and throws you in the seat. So far ive replaced the cam sensor, ignition coil, wires, tps, maf, cap and rotor. And dont worry those were all under warranty except for the ignition coil. So not much money wasted. I was thinking the crank sensor but not 100 percent sure. Also it runs just fine other than that no other issues. Any ideas? Im no newb to the xj world either i just dont feel like dropping another $50 on a cps unless im sure thats it. Thanks in advance guys

Search for "CPS Testing". It should be reading in a certain range of AC VOLTS, not OHMS. I want to say it's .35ACV or above, I'd need to look at it again. Easy to test, too. Another thing would be cruiser54's Renix Tips. If he comes through, he'll say to do them, I'll bet $10 on it!

Its not a RENIX computer just the block. Everything else is H.O. However i will check the CPS with my meter later.
