water pump torque spec

i'm replacing my water pump and i want to know how much i need to torque the bolts to. its a 97 4.0

I just took a rotary wire brush to the whole gasket till it was shiny and smooth, rtv'ed it and cranked it down. No leaks.

I usually find "German torque" ("gutentiet") to be sufficient.

If you want an actual torque spec, check the Tech section on my website - I probably have it there.
