Negative, it's copper/brass, not aluminum.

Oh, my bad, maybe it is copper and brass. Its black, I know that...but now that you mention it when I looked at the fill spout it was brass....oops. :embarrassed:

Um...it *IS* full metal tho...

Since were on the topic kinda, will any zj fan clutch work in our jeeps? (Mines the 90) or do j need to find a specific year/style

I'm not mechanically inclined and I changed my water pump myself, lot's of cursing and some busted knuckles but it's worth it.

i was going to mention the fan clutch due to the nature of the issue as well. also deffinitly replace the thermostat as well.
