I'm going to replace my water pump. I noticed they have a few different ones that vary in price from $25 to $80 or so. I was going to get the one for $40. Is it worth getting the more expensive one?
Cost variance could be due to model it fits. Make sure you've got the correct part and don't skimp on quality.. If this is any help..

When it comes to water pumps, I'd just find one that fits and has a lifetime warranty. There really isn't a huge difference in pumps from brand to brand

All I ever do is go to Auto Zone with the lifetime warranty. I installed one on my 98 about 4 years ago and never had a problem. If I do, I do have the lifetime warranty. The big plus over ordering one is if it does go bad I don't have to wait to send in my old and wait for a new one to arrive.
