water pump life?

I got the 2001 sport with 141k miles and original water pump, radiator, t-stat, etc... whats the average life expectancy of these things? Just wondering if I need to start thinking about purchasing one just in case or what? How easy/hard is it to install one?

Engine: 4.0, bolt ons for days...

replace it when its shot. at 141k youre either due soon, or its been replaced at 80k or so and should be good..

i've done 4 waterpumps and can swap em out in half an hour now.
