Default Water pump help?

Could anyone help me with this? Autozone gave me instructions and I'm gonna do my best when I get home tonight but any advice to make it a little easier or more reliable? I really appreciate the help..

I don't know what year you have, but if there is no tensioner for the serpentine belt, loosen the power steering pump to remove the belt. Other than that, once you get the fan shroud and fans out of the way it's pretty self-explanatory.
Tighten the bolts cris-cross a little at a time.
Water Pump Mounting Bolts: 98 and older: 22 ft/lbs. 99 and newer: 17 ft/lbs.
Water pump pulley bolts: 20 ft/lbs

I always add a light coat of RTV to the water pump gasket, both sides. I hate doing it again because of a leak.

Watch the pump mounting bolts, one is longer than the rest. Make note of where it goes.

For more room, remove e-fan and shroud. It helped a ton!

New water pump = one less thing to fail later on. No harm done
