Default Water accumulating under pass. rear seat?

It's just above the the muffler, and I can see it draining down. Are there common leak area's to look for when finding water in this area?

Seems to be common on the door or windshield gaskets.
Mine does this alittle when it rains but is always in the front passenger floor.

I just don't see how it can make its way UNDER the rear seat? It's kinda where the back seat bottom and back seat rest meet(in the crack).

I've been searching best I can for scenario's like what I have and some say it may be the roof rack bolts/o-rings?? I dunno...I just don't see that but I guess i'll check it to see, though.

Yeah that's an odd place. Looks like if the rack bolts where leaking the headliner may be wet??? Stumped me.

Right, that's what I was thinking.

Did you check the floor pan to be sure it's solid? The passenger rear pan is bad for rusting out over the muffler and letting water in when driving. Mine's rusted through in a couple small spots now and i'm fixing to have to weld in a new pan.

There is most definitely a wet/dripping spot above the muffler. I thought it was being used as a drain....not an area for water to get pumped UP through there. Can it really come UP right there?

If that's the case, I can easily just patch that and move on to whatever problem comes up next.

There is a rubber drain plug there but unless you've removed it or it's somehow worked loose it shouldn't be dripping.... The padding is more/less a sponge and wicks a lot of moisture up into the carpet. I've got 3 or 4 spots about the size of quarters in mine and it can soak the rear floorboard when I drive in the rain for awhile.

Have a look at the body seam in the rr wheel inner fender, mine was leaking there and soaking the carpet when driving

I think I may've found it!!!! After a wheeling trip today(very muddy), I stopped by the spray-n-wash to keep my driveway clean.

I found some mud-spray coming from the bottom of the cargo plastic panels.....I bet it's the damn windows leaking around the mouldings! I'll tear into that later when the weather gets dryer.

Let us know what you find.... I pulled my carpet and I have a big rust spot in that exact same area. Not rusted through luckily, but it's bad enough to tell water has been pooling in that area for some time.

I'll certainly update my thread, as I hate to search and find dead end threads. It may be a while or so before I start pullin' panels and carpet. I have a ton of bedliner crap left over and would like to hit the insides and that means basically gutting it.
