wat to put in tcase

do i put ATF fluid in my 242 t case?

According to my Haynes manual, they specify using Dexron ATF for the T-Case (same type used in the tranny).

ok well i already bought a bunch of ATF +4 i think its the same thing, i just guessed

I have always put into my t-case what ever I put in the tranny (YJ, ZJ XJ all different). Just cause there is always a chance of cross leaking..
