I have a Warn CE M8000 winch and I was wondering if it was different than a regular M8000. Also it has a code on it. SN 1080302. Can someone please tell about my winch and what do they cost new. What does the CE stand for?

my m8000 was 1200 new, but i got it on sale for 899. came with remote, hawse fairlead, hook and thimble and a nice red W sticker.
they however are on sale now for 699 from a local vendor here in canada.
damn good winch for the money. i'd trust a warn over any other brand, any day.
nothing beats the old 8274 tho.

I got my winch on a bumper for $350. It came with a wrangler winch bumper and two kc day lighters. Every thing works great but I just wanted to see how much they cost new and I needed info on it. Thanks.

good deal for sure. you should be able to sell that winch bumper for most of your money back.
the winch is worth atleast $600 new, and my kc lights cost $200 new, and i just bought a pro-comp tj bumper for $250 new, then a winch plate is about $100 new...
but i'm still not sure what the CE stands for. so i can't help you there.

with hydrolic, if you roll, you can't right yourself without the engine running.
the good thing about hydrolic, is 100% duty cycle. but that's it.
hydrolic is for tow trucks.

I guess I better make sure I dont roll then, lol
Or theres always hooking up a separate tank and pump, and run that pump off the battery/alternator, as some guys have....but, I think I will concentrate on actually getting a winch first
