i cant figure this out.. my alternator took a crap on me the other day.. well from experience i know low voltage can throw gauges out of whack. well the oil pressure was reading high.. really high... it would go past 80 psi.. well i just replaced my alt. and my voltage guage isnt accurate now. its saying 10volts while i hooked it up and it read 13.77V. the oil pressure is almost the same.. being really high. i have just enough oil to be at full on the stick.. it was almost down to the low mark but i put in some 5w-20 to dilute the 20w-50 & lucas oil stabilizer.. i thought maybe all the thin oil ran out the rear main seal and the pump was pumping heavier oil with more psi. any idea whats going on??
