Default Vibration after Lift HEEELP!

Hey all,
I live in Las Vegas and I recently purchased a 2000 Jeep Cherokee and have started modifying it. I'm not really a mechnic but I do ok.
First I droped a 3" Rough Country Lift with full rear leafs, followed by a set of Falcon 265 70 R16 tires. Looks real nice. I didn't want to go to crazy cause I wanted it to be smooth on the highway and decent off road.

I noticed after I installed the lift, a subtle vibration through my drive shaft in second gear at around 25 MPH. Its seems to smooth out at aroung 40 MPH but really pisses me off. I have 3 degree steel shims installed which came with the kit and from what I'm reading should have eliminated the vibration. Any suggestions as to what I need to do to solve this issue?

It is the increased angle on your rear DS U-joints from your lift. You can fix this a couple of ways. There are drop kits available for your TC cross member. There are wedge shaped degree shims you can get to install between your rear springs and spring pads to point your rear diff pinion up. Of course the best and most expensive way to fix the problem is to install a Slip Yoke Eliminator in your TC rear output.

Ok, I thought the lift kit had com with shims but I found out from my buddy that installed it that what I thought were shims were infact mounting pieces welded to the new leafs springs. I know, I'm a novice!..LOL.
I just installed the 3 Degree shims which elliminated some but not all of the vibrations. I'm thinking, I try the TC drop kit next. It seems like a fairly inexpensive next logical step before I think about a Slip Yoke Eliminator. As I am new to all of this, any advice or comments would be apprciated.

Have you measured your driveshaft to make sure while in normal driving conditions your driveshaft isn't stretched out over to far of a distance? After lifting a rig the further the rear axle gets away from the t-case the more vibrations the shaft will make.
Doesn't seem like it would make a big difference but you would be suprised. Which the t-case drop could help some but depends on how far the t-case and axle are from each other

I'm not sure I understand. What should that measurement be.

Can u tell me if dropping the TC will effect my front Differential. I just took mine out to the desert and did a little hill climbing. Rear tires started rubbing pretty bad on a sick *** steep hill. Wondering if I do rear shackles to lift it up a little more or leave it alone. Really bummed. I knew I shouldn't have gone to the Falcon 165 70 R16's. Damn! LOL.

Just did a 1" drop kit for my TC. Vibration a little less but still there. I thought I saw a post about an aftermarket extended shaft for the TC. ANyone else know where that post was or the link to this item. Thinking of replaceing my UV joints before I spend the money for SYE. YAY! This is fun!

Found the link to the long shaft, since these vibrations seem to be hit and miss even across similar jeeps, It/s on Rustys Offroad products website. I thought I would try that before I break down and buy an SYE.

Default lifted 94 xj

Hey I saw your post from awhile back, I'm hoping you're still on here.

After seeing what you drive, I was hoping you could help me out with my ride.

I just got a rubican express 3.5" lift on my 1994 Cherokee xj, and I have a pretty bad vibration when I first start driving, and when I reach about 75 and above.

I know it's probably the DS, but front or rear? And what is the best fix in your opinion?
