I have searched for this on here, but no luck so here goes...
So I noticed a new sound this past week now that I have been driving the XJ again (due to snow).
I am getting a low vib/burp/growl when I get off the gas at highway speeds (IE greater then 55 mph). Once the slows to 55 or lower I don't hear it. It really does sounds like a low rumble or burp.
I am thinking that it might be due to not having at TC drop or SYE, but I'm looking for other possible causes. U-joint going maybe?
Oh, and please lets not let this degrade into the TC drop VS. SYE battles... LOL
Stats are in sig...
Thanks!

Well figured it out... Or, I think I located the problems... Pinion bearing up front is shot as well as the front drive shaft slip is shot. I figure that one of them is the culprit for the sound.
Shall see once I get them replaced.
