I was getting lunch, When i came back out to my jeep to leave. I turned the key and it didnt beep and nothing lit up. I turned the key to start it and got nothing, Not even a click. It was like it was completely dead. I waited 10 minutes, and tried to start it, It started, but really hard and it wouldn't idle. Then it died and none of the lights came on and the RPM gauge froze at 600rpm. I waited another 10 minutes and tried to start it again, It starts right up as nothing ever happened. It ran normal all the way back to work.

battery is newish, and the cables were secured tight. I did just replace the engine, Ive only put about 400 miles on this one.

Any ideas? Bad ground?

 

Is your alternator ok? Also are your battery cables in good shape?

 

Alternator is good! The only thing i can imagine it being is a loose ground. So ill have to tighten them all up.
