very odd fuel leak...
So about a month ago I noticed while fueling up that I was dripping.. So I went straight home and tightened down the clamp on the tank side of the filler neck and figured I was good. At next fill up it still happened so I got it on a lift, took the old clamp off and pull the neck down onto the nipple on the tank as far as I could, and then I put two clamps on it. Filled up again today and it wasn't as bad but was still dripping. I'm at the point that I want to just by a new filler neck for it, drop the tank and make sure its on there right but I figured I'd post on here to see if anyone has had this issue or heard of filler necks getting dry rotted. Thanks in advance

Could it be leaking from the vent hose, down near the tank ? The service manual doesn't show everything very good.
When I had to remove the tank on one of my cars to replace the fuel pump, I found that finding the hoses for the filler and the vent was not easy locally. I went online & found a place....Filler Neck Supply Co.
They have bulk straight hose, and some curved types of many diameters. And also filler necks for some cars etc.
If you end up looking to replace a hose, that place may be able to supply what you need.

Its possible.. However the vent hose shouldn't ever really see fuel.. I feel like its soming from the filler neck but its hard to tell.
Replacing the filler neck is the only access through that skid plate near the leaf?

Shoot, well thanks for the input! I think I'll order new filler and vent hoses and put a wider clamp on and see if that fixes it. It never leaks after I'm done filling
