Trying to assemble the cylinder head for my 2000 XJ using the "Ovate Wire Valve Springs for Jeep 4.0L 1988-06"
from Competition Cams. Problem is they do not have a valve spring retainer. They make the springs and the tool
to cut the spring seat so it makes NO sense. Called them yesterday and was told to reuse the originals. I really
don't want to. I've been searching for new ones to no avail. I have found EVERY other part of the valve train except
the retainers. Chrysler sites have even said discontinued. Have they been banned or something?
