It seems I have been in need to change the valve cover gasket for quite some time. It's a little messy but so far that's been the worst of it. Today while driving I noticed a little smoke coming out of the rear of the jeep. When I stopped and looked under, it seemed some oil was dripping onto the exhaust.
I was always under the impression that a leaky valve cover gasket wouldn't leak to the point of dripping, am I wrong in this assumption?

You my friend are very wrong. Ive had covers come in at work pourin goil out. My last xj the cover was so bad even after i fixed it and did the clutch i was still cleaning oil off it. Its an easy job to do. Use the felpro neoprene gasket no the cork

Thanks. Just never ran into one that leaked that much. I plan to use the felpro. Thanks again.
