valve cover basket
Um replacing on a 99 4.0. Got the felpro it came w 15 plastic grommets. The cover has metal ones that look like they are in there permanently where the bolts go. Do I need to use the plastic grommets ? If I use w existing metal ones bolts will be to short??

Not sure if the factory's was metal.
Just remove the old one and use the provided grommets.
Just pry the old one off with a flat head, they should come off without effort.
