Default Valve cover

2000 Jeep Cherokee sport 4.0L, does it matter where the studs and bolts go on the valve cover?

Studs should line up with the plastic wire holders for the fuel injector wiring. If those are long gone, then it really doesn't matter.

Probably. I believe that the studs are used to attach and connect other items..
