This strainer is plumbed in prior to my filter housing, got it a the local TSC farm supply store, helps catch the blowby vapour and less fouling to the air cleaner.

Get some steel wool and stuff the screen tube if you really want to clean it up. Have the Princess Auto version on my Golf

That's how they usually start lol. The problem with cork is that after being compressed for so long it just stays that way. Then it dries out and then all you have is a really porous spacer.
how did u do the floor delete mod??? I always wanted to do that! Would I need a $1000 toolbox to do it??

Given enough time, miles, and winter road salt; the floor delete option is free.
It's the floor replacement that requires the tools chest.
