Hi All,
So I was recently chasing around codes and figured out where this noise has been coming from. Well at least a general area... It's not constant, but when driving it sounds like it's coming from the glove box. It's under the hood. I hope the link is allowed.. I took a video and put it on youtube. Please tell me, what is that sound?!

Believe it's coming from the fuel vapor leak detection pump. They usually make a ticking sound not a whistling sound but it corresponds with the cycling of the pump. So you may have a small leak at it.

 

That high-pitched squeal is a classic vacuum leak. Since it's near the glove box, the most common culprit is the brake booster check valve or the vacuum hose that runs to it.

Spray a little starter fluid or carb cleaner around the hoses and connections on that side of the engine bay while it's running. When the spray hits the leak, the engine RPMs will surge and the sound will change. That will pinpoint the exact spot.
