I got a '90 xjw ith a I6 auto tranny. When I got my XJ, the vacuum lines were all screwed up. It was missing a few of them, the whole EGR system was gone and some of the lines were plugges up with bolts. I guess during the motor rebuild I left one out or something because it's running reallllyy rich. I was wondering which lines do you NEED for it to run descent, right now im literally getting about 7 mpg and it's idiling like crap, it stalls sometimes. I'm guessing something is up with the MAP sensor or the vacuum on the fuel regulator is off and causing it to dump fuel in. Anyone know what should the correct vacuum be @ the fuel pressure reg during idol? Any other suggestions...? I'm not in town right now so I'm just trying to get some ideas to try when I get back.
