Default urgent help with engine!!

Hi everyone,

i was just driving my jeep at the farm and it started to make a noise that sounded like a circular saw! I stopped immediately and looked at the engine and a pulley has come loose or something and is shredding itself. the belt didnt come off and isnt damaged but does this mean game over? what type of pulley is this?
im so upset i dont know what to do? can it be fixed? and if so is it costly?

thank you

Nothing is ever that easy on a Jeep, figure on a few bucks for a pulley remover if you can't borrow one from Auto zone.

And don't forget the 10 bucks for the beer, as being drunk lessens the pain when you bust your knuckles, also make sure they're no small children around as their will a lot of yelling and cursing.

dont you think maybe you bashed your knuckles because you were drunk?! lol

i live in the uk so dont think people will be that kind to let me borrow a pulley remover.
do i need special tools then to get the pulley off and the belt back on again?
if i go to the scrappie to look for a new pulley will it come with the bearing or do you buy that seperately?

Belts are cheap. The labor to R&R...or the aggro if it breaks anywhere but your driveway...is not.
