Default upper rear control arm bolts

i need to remove rotted out rear upper control arms from a 1995 Grand Cherokee. everything is really rusty so I'll soak with PB Blaster first. looking into the access hole in the frame it appears there is a nut on the bolt that goes thru the control arm bushing. Is the nut welded to the frame or does it need to be held with a socket? i am concerrned about breaking the bolt off when i try and break it loose but if the nut is not welded or captured in the frame i may just cut the head off the bolt and drive it thru the bushing and out the access hole. Any suggestions or experiences would be appreciated. thx

Just want to let you know this is a Cherokee forum Grands have different control arms. They are interchangeable and I believe you have a good plan for removal. Once you get underneath, I think you'll find there is a bolt head to hold onto. PB blaster is your friend. Have fun,

You need to hold the nut, it's not a captured nut.

I think they may be either 13mm or 15mm.
