Upper Heater Hose

Cant find an upper heater hose at any perts stores?? Is it just a regular peice of hose or is there a special name??
If its regular hose does anyone know what diameter??

The heater hose that attaches to the t-stat housing is 3/4", the other is 5/8". They sell by the foot at the parts store, just measure how much u need. Personally, I wouldn't run either heater hose in the stock location - next to the valve cover. Valve trains run really hot and don't need a hot heater hose next to the valve cover. We just run our heater hoses over the a/c compressor and call it good.

OK, so I looked in my service manual and it shows the hose from the t stat going to the lower heater core. is this correct??
as I bought it it has the t stat hose going to the upper heater core
as I bought it it has the t stat hose going to the upper heater core

The heater core has 2 different size nipples....one is 3/4" and one is 5/8". The 5/8" hose goes to the water pump and the 3/4" hose goes to the t-stat housing.
