Replacing the stock fuel injectors with the upgraded 748's and while taking off the first 2 injector wire connectors I've snapped both of the little locking tabs that hold them in place. There seems to be a black tab and a red tab on all of them and just pressing down the black one isn't letting the connection release. The red tab seems to do nothing either.
Am I missing something here? Anybody with a 99+ have any input on my troubles
? And anybody have any ideas on what I can do to lock the connectors in place?
Thanks in advance.

PS: If you slid the red tab up and the black tab still doesn't release the plug off the injector then reach up with a tiny flat tipped screw driver or something from the lower end and manually lift the black tab off the little nub on the injector.

Thanks programbo, only broke 1 other clip after that.
I'm guessing there's no way to buy just the clips online somewhere? It seems like the plug won't fall off but just for ease of mind I'd like to get some new ones.

I believe you can buy new plugs but it would require splicing them into the wiring harness
