So I have a 1998 XJ and want to do the injector upgrade but am having problems finding them. I live in canada so maybe thats the issue. The only injectors from neons I can find end in 182 or 471 or 740 or 772 or 938.
How would a guy cross reference these? I know the ones I want are 703 but I can use the 784 by changing the harness over.

not many people are gonna read this cause there are tons of posts about it. try using the search bar up top. just type injector in and it will pull up the info you want.

First for injectors, you want a rebuilt, ultrasonically cleaned and flow matched set, not some dirty junk yard set.
Many injectors will work in the cherokee and they have many names. The bosch design III 19# ones are what I use in my bmw's and they would be great for the 4.0 up to '95 I believe. They are also called ford yellows/19's.
I buy mine from user "smokestackj" on ebay, do an advanced searched by seller, its $70 for a set shipped.
but I guess you need different ones, I'd still use ebay and get some rebuilt ones.
I see on ebay ones for 87-95 (the ones I mentioned above) lots and for cheap, then it jumps to 99-01
oh here, these black ones say for a '98, but they're $130...
just look around i guess good luck
