Ran it through an entire tank of gas. Ran it through the intake.

Then you prolly didnt get too much crud in your oil, wont hurt to change it however.

With what you did there isnt any way to clean it more unless you want to like take the head off or something.

I tried it directly in the intake... it did make a ton of smoke but shortly after the updraft O2 sensor went out. I thought it coincidence.... until the downdraft O2 sensor went out a day later. It makes sense it is probably really hard on O2 sensors. For fuel injected engines.... I won't do it again.

use crc tb cleaner in your intake next time...it'll do the job and cook off before hitting exhaust manifold and not damage sensors....you can hook up a 1/4" tube to the vacuum nipple on the side of the intake manifold below the tb.....start engine (don't plug up hose, it'll stall!) and spray down tube...it'll clean the whole intake manifold below the tb!

This?

Cool I will try it if I need to again. I use Lukas fuel based cleaner every month now, haven't had any problems.

that's it, buy two cans....make sure you don't flood it....and some heavy duty injector cleaner...(seafoam is good and general, injector cleaner is specific....i pick up a six pack at costco and use one bottle before every fillup...on the way to the pump)....at your local auto shop.

...if you want/can/have time/feel like it/etc....take the tb off (you can pick up a bored TB and do a core exchange...then the openings will match up... 68mm vs. 62/63mm...makes a big difference!!!) and clean it really good with the crc...you can remove the sensors and clean those too!....however, the above should be good enough for you to see a difference in performance, albeit minimal but effective.

wow that seems excessive... I usually fill up 4-5 times per month and use 1 bottle every month.

For cleaning the TB I did that when I replaced the TPS. It wasn't really that bad I just used carb cleaner. I am pretty religious about the FI cleaner now and I have noticed (per records) my MPG improved by 2 which is really big considering it was from getting rid of crap in the engine!

I had a mildly rough idle so I put a can of Seafoam in my full gas tank. 120 miles on it...seems like it smoothed out a little bit but, really, hard to tell. Not sure I'd spend the $10 again.
