Unibody Stiffeners???

Unibody Stiffeners???
Ok so i have been looking a lot at some different unibody stiffeners and I was wanting to get some opinions on them. the ones I have liked the most come with rockers attached and look pretty strong. but what I want to know is do these stiffeners rely help with the structure of the xj that much?

they are a good start
they keep you from bashing the framerails in, which severely weakens the vehicle as a whole.
i have some 3/16" wrapping around my rails and some 1/8" plate to be welded to the front rails. eventually gonna wrap something around the rear and cage it
