Unable to select 4 wheel low

Unable to select 4 wheel low
Hi again!
I'm still unable to select 4 wheel low on my manual 1996 Cherokee sport! I've played around with the lever and bolt (as shown in photo) but it still won't select low! I've physically tried to put it into low from underneath the jeep but it just doesn't want to play ball!! Any ideas??

I had the same problem you just need to adjust the tc linkage when i did mine i put it in 4hi and then loosened the adjustment then put the lever in 2wd but it was really in 4hi then pulled the lever back as far as it would go then loosened it back up put lever in 4lo and tighten it back up and your good to go
