u-bolt size?

After screwing with it for 5 minutes, we decided to take the trip 30 minutes one-way to a local spring shop. We walked in, told him we need some 1/2" ubolts, 3" wide on the inseam, about yea long, and it took him maybe, MAYBE, 30 seconds to bend them. Drove the 30 minutes back home, and they fit beautifully.
I love it when a plan comes together.
