Two tags on 8.25 axle cover?

Two tags on 8.25 axle cover?
My 95 country has a 8.25 rear end. It has two small tags on the rear cover.One on ths bottom says 3.5, 3.55 gear ratio. The other tag bolted at the top of the cover says 3254. I have no idea what that means, if anything. Anybody have any ideas?
