Turn and turn and turn but no start
I just go back from a two week trip today and went to start my jeep. It would turn and turn but wouldnt start and finally the battery lost charge. When I hooked up the jumpers it would turn all day but wouldnt start and when I pulled out the key it kept turning until I removed the battery cable. Im assuming it is a bad solenoid which I will be replacing in the morning but any ideas on the no start? BTW i just put in a new clutch and rear main seal and didnt realize till I was done that I never disconnected the battery. Is it possible that this couldve affected it? It started and ran fine when I was done with it. Thanks for reading.
