i have a 98 cherokee xj and the turn signals are not working. I have checked the related fuses in the kick panel, replaced the turn/hazard relay and the multifunction switch and still nothing, not even turn signal lights on the dash. Any suggestions?

 

by turn/hazard relay relay do you mean the flasher relay inside the driver side kickpanel?

 

The one located under the headlight ****. I've come to find its a short somewhere as I every time I flip the turn signals on, it blinks for a quick second then blows the fuse in the passenger side kick panel (fuse 12 10amp) Now I believe I have to trace back the wires from the turn/haz relay back.
