Question Turn signal only blinks sometimes

I just recently got my fan clutch and serpentine belt replaced from a mechanic my sister has used for a long time. On the way home, when I put my turn signal on, it blinked for a little bit and then it just stayed on and stopped blinking.

Any ideas?

Stuck or messed up blinker flasher relay is where I would start.

this vid will point you where to look, its up under the dash driver side.

I think its a common problem. When I was buying my first xj I think I probably looked at 8 different xjs that all had the same problem.
