Turn signal only blinks 2 times

My turn signal only flashes 2 or 3 times before it stops. The turn signal post snaps back after the steering wheel is returned to normal position. Is this an indication of a bad clock spring?

Either bad grounds or a faulty turn signal relay. You didn't say what year.

Turn signal wiring doesn't go through the clockspring.
