Turn signal/flasher not working

Turn signal/flasher not working
I know this might be rehashing old threads but I’m at a loss and need some help.
My 98 XJ Classic is having problems with the turn signal and hazards.
I replaced the fuses and swapped out the multifunction really underneath the dash to the left of the headlight switch. I also swapped out the turn signal switch on the steering column...no luck.
Even thought the turn signals with go they won’t blink. And the hazard lights won’t work at all. Any ideas?
