Tune Up ?

Default Tune Up ?

IM going to do a tune up on kermit and was wondering what spark plugs to go with and what is a good gap set. also is the fuel filter in the tank like my tj?

Champion Truck plugs... .035 is the gap ya need..I don't know what year your XJ as I think the 00-01 models were put in the tank but I could be wrong..

Also on plugs no matter what stay away from Accel plugs they suck at least based on my experience.

It is a waste of money to use the platinum plugs too. So in my experience Champions like OKC says are the best and probably the cheapest.

I used Bosch Platinum just bc I did wanted to get the most expensive nor the most cheap,, so I took the in-between

what year? This plays a big role in what plugs....if any

its a 2000 model with the coil on plug set up..

Should say in the owners manual if you have one. If not the parts monkeys at AZ might be able to help you.
