Came across this on my one of my other message boards. I sent her the link here a week or two ago but since I havent seen her on here I am going to share her pics.

It started as an 87 (ish) Eliminator and ended up as a pretty nice looking Tuff Truck. I believe the rules require it to be basically stock.

I believe she said she finished 8th overall for the season, not bad for her rookie season. The race team also has a couple of Cherokees.

 

we tried doing this once to a 1988 chevy corisica(for a local mud derby track that we knew the owner and wanted to mess around on it) after getting the car(which ran) for under 100 bucks(including title transfer so the PO didnt have any legal trouble) we get it back to my garage to start tearing out old parts. First thing to go was the exhaust, while it was getting jacked up, it fell off on its own.. Next, we noticed that every line(brake, gas, and coolant) had leaks so we started messing with that. Every time we fix the gas line, another hole would bust open.. So after trying to get the right piping and not even touching the other problems, we said F it, and junked it for another 50(we didnt touch it for 5 or 6 monthes and my dad started getting angry that it was taking up room in his garage that he could have been renting out).. lol.. problem a good thing we got rid of it.. it was a death trap waiting to happen with a bunch of 16 year-olds on a mud track...
