So, I bought mirrors, no backing plates, I bought backing plates, but they aren't the OEM ones. Right now only 1 of mine is the "OEM" version and the other is shaped slightly differently. I need to find 2 of the original backing plates that came with the vehicle. I've been looking for weeks. Hoping someone has a part # that I can search for now because I'm running out of options.

I bet @Ralph77 can help me with this. Sorry man, I promise I will bookmark that website this time, lol.

 

Have a look at pages 742 & 743, there's so many part numbers you'll have to work out which type is the ones you're after.

I did not even know that you could.
I figured they would all have the backing with the half moons to clip into the housing.

So if you are talking about what I think you are talking about I don't think you can buy them separately.
There are few different choices depending on exactly what mirrors you have.

I have looked at this before and have always been a little confused by the part descriptions.
I think I know what most of them are but the "Manual Gulf Foldaway" has always confused me.
