trucks running really hot. thinking about hardwireing a switch

Default trucks running really hot. thinking about hardwireing a switch

i have my truck running about 215 running on a cool day. its not the raditor or the thermo stat. plus im going on a long trip like to be running cool on it. and gotta go on the beach soon. anyone have any how to links or picks of the wire digram to override the connection to make the eltric fan turn on my switch

Are you sure you don't have another underlying issue? I'd start there before you hardware your fan

How do you know it's not the radiator? Under what conditions is it running hot? When was the last time the coolant was changed? Water pump? Give us some info. Putting the fan on a switch doesn't solve anything.

i changed my waterpump and raditor. and then flushed it with cleaner
and thermo stat.

how is your fan clutch?
there are many units to a cooling system, not just a rad and thermostat.

one of these units is failing to operate at spec.
