After tryin to fix my cruise I did a self-diagnosis check and i got code 12(nbd) and 15 (vehicle speed sensor) Which makes sense cause some times my speedo stop workin for a min or 2. But question is wheres my speed sensor?

 

1) if 2wd the sensor is at rear of trans. in the tailshaft.
2) if 4x4 its in the rear of the transfer case.

it does help. 4x4. Will i need to replace just the plug or undo the whole thing from the t-case and replace everything (gear and all)?

 

you wont lose any fluid when changing sensor, i believe its a 8 or 10mm hold down bolt, then sensor just pulls out.
